I was so excited to be heading back to Myrtle Beach for the All American pageant! I was glad to see a few old friends at the pageant and was looking forward to meeting my room-mate who is also a Kim! The pageant weekend was in Myrtle Beach October 2 - 5, 2008. |

Here are some pictures from orientation. |

That evening, we had the wonderful opportunity to be treated to an evening on the Sun Cruz line! Here are some of the fun photos. |

Here are a couple of the photos from the Mrs. interview and rehearsal. My roommate and I are both "Kim" and we are having such a great time already that we become the "Wonder Twins!" Kim's daughter, Whitney, was there with her and just laughing at us the whole time! I also was pleased to see old friends Kathleen from Maryland, Jennifer from Virginia and Cris from Florida.
When we got to rehearsal, Holly had a great day planned for us learning a cool number to "Viva Las Vegas" by none other than ELVIS! |

On Friday, in between the All American interviews, I had the honor of helping to stuff "Dang It Dolls" for our Servicewomen and Servicemen. As you can see by the explanation in the first photo, these dolls are made to help "destress" our troops deployed overseas. You can find out more by clicking here: www.militarystressreliefdolls.com . Here's "SPIKE" the original Dang It Doll.
Here's my doll with his 'fro. I kind of liked it! But he is very cute as a Bo-Sox Buddy. However, I wasn't thinking that when I made him, a Yankees fan will probably end up with him and really beat on him! |

By Friday evening, we had all competed and it was time for me to give up my All American Talent title. I had an amazing year as All American Ms. Talent. By the end of the evening, I was so proud of receiving the Mrs. Woman Community Service Award as well as the title of Mrs. Supermodel With Style! This title is the person in the pageant that scored the highest combined score of fashion wear and evening wear! What an honor! As I was being "crowned and congratulated" by Maria and Dina, I also received my new crown ring right there on the spot! Next stop - the midnight photo shoot on the beach (after some late night Burger King with my roomie Kim! ;-) |

The midnight photo shoot was a lot of fun. Here are a few of the photo from Friday night. |

Unfortunately, the winners also had to be up the next morning for an early photo shoot as well. Unlucky for me that I ended up with a migraine and wasn't feeling to well that morning. You can tell in these photos. I'm not afraid to admit I look terrible! So much for "supermodel!" LOL :-) You can tell when the meds start kicking in! Here I am with the girls: Cris, Kim, me and Alyssa - Cris' daughter. |

After the photo shoot, we headed to the Surfside Beach Festival. |

The girls! I was so happy to see my old friend, Stephania. She and I competed at Mrs. Virginia America and Ms. Petite International togehter. Stephania is also a former runner-up at the All American pageant. After we introduced ourselves on stage, we moved to the fire truck for these great and fun photos. I love Chick-fil-a and don't get a chance to eat it in Connecticut so when I saw the cow, I went running for a photo! ( I confess, I was secretly hoping he had a Chick-fil-a to give out!) |

That afternoon, we were treated to a wonderful lunch by the American Image National Pageant staff. We got to meet Ginny Meerman - the inaugural queen and part of the pageant team - Deb Dyer and Sherry Strother. I also got a chance to get Sherry's amazing book and to chat with Stephanie Hunt, Mrs. United States 2007. |

Saturday night is here and the opening number Holly put together for us is to "Free Your Mind" by En Vogue. By the end of the evening, I was again honored to receive the All American Pageant Spirit Award! Next up, they announce the runner-up positions for the title of All American Woman. And then...the new All American Woman 2009 is Kimberly Geremia! My Mom always said I had the "worst winner's face" she ever saw! That's because I am such a crybaby! One of my favorite photos - hugs from the girls! Crowning moments! I'm so happy that I also got to meet the new Florida directors! Last year, when I won the All American Ms. Talent title and was 1st Runner-Up to Melissa Hagen, we had a blast with fun photos of me trying to rip the crown off Melissa's head. Soooo, this year was a little different... Congratulations from Stephanie Hunt and old friend Audrey Lorence. Michele also offers her congratulations. Alyssa and I watching our crown clips being installed. It won't fall off now! Congrats from the beautiful Holly! |

After the pageant, we once again headed to the beach for a photo shoot. A "Triple Crown" moment! I am so pleased that I will have the opportunity to once again be a part of the All American Family! |

On Friday, November 7th, I entertained the Morris Seniors and Veterans at the Morris Senior Center Veteran's Day Luncheon. It was a wonderful afternoon. They were very proud someone from Morris had won this national title.

On Saturday, November 8th, my friend Stacy Perrone-Petta (Miss Connecticut America 1996) and I attended the Miss Hartford/Miss Rocky Hill Pageant. Here I am with old friend and Miss New London - Kara Prete. The new Miss Hartford County Outstanding Teen. Miss Connecticut's Outstanding Teen, Rachel Ramonas. With Miss Connecticut, Ashley Glenn. With the new Miss Hartford County. With Junior Miss Litchfield County. With one of the judges, Taylor Chambers, and Stacy. We were all former Liberty Misses and toured overseas together. I also met up with former Miss Connecticut Heidi Voight. She is such a hoot and "tried on the All American crown." It was a pretty good look for her...

It is November 11th, Veteran's Day, and I am once again in New York City with my Veteran's performance troupe, The Glory Girls. We have been invited to breakfast at the Mayor's Mansion. Here we are with the Honorable Mayor Michael Bloomberg .

Here we are outside of the New York City's Mayor's Mansion. Jillian, me and Stacy.

I invited my fellow queens to join us for the parade and All American Classic Woman, Stephanie Arnold-Merchant came along for the ride!
This is part of our wonderful float. Here we are with some of the Miss Empire Royalty and with Miss Empire and Cheshire's Outstanding Teen, Taylor Jennett and Connecticut's Outstanding Teen, Rachel Ramonas.
Stacy's husband, Vinny, took my banner for me! Our float was sponsored by HBO. With the fire department flag brigade. This wonderful Veteran rode on our float. Stephanie and I take this great shot with Lady Liberty!
Ready for the parade! With Little Miss Empire Royalty, Victoria.
I had a blast pretending to be NYCity's most famous climber - King Kong!
My daughter's favorites are the window display at the Disney Store!
This royal shot was the end to a wonderful day! |

On November 22nd, I had the honor to emcee the Wolcott and Greater waterbury's Outstanding Teen Pageant. Here I am with one of the judges, Corey. Also I am here with the director, Stacy Perrone-Petta, Miss Connecticut 1996 and Ashley Glenn, Miss Connecticut 2008. I also congratulated the new Greater Waterbury's Outstanding Jr. Teen. It was a long and wonderful evening.
