Here I am before the pageant in the hallway of the North Haven Holiday Inn. Interestingly enough, it is another pageant taking place on Halloween day!

The crowning moment happened October 31, 1999
in North Haven, Connecticut. Everyone laughed as the crown was too big and slipped right down to my neck!

Next to me is Mary Mudry, America's Yankee Miss. She and I would soon embark on an overseas tour for the Department of Defense and the U.S.O. combined entertainment office. We traveled to Turkey, Italy and Greece to entertain the troops and their families.

This is the first time my new group, Troupe Q.T., makes an appearance. I am so excited to have my sister queens travel to Rocky Hill VA Hospital (CT) to perform for our Veterans.
