As most of us usually are when bitten by the "pageant bug," I wanted to compete again.
So...I took on the title of Mrs. Atlantic Shores Connecticut!
This year's pageant took place in Virginia Beach, Virginia on Sunday, September 17, 2006.
Not only was I excited to represent Connecticut, but also to be in my home state of Virginia!

After interview, we all met back in the ballroom for a little rehearsal time
with our Director, Autumn Skye-Boothe.
Everyone was so nice but the competition was tough! But it all ended with me being crowned Mrs. Atlantic Shores 2007!

I was so excited that my family was there to see me! My husband David and daughter
Delilah were there as well as my Mom, Dad and Sister! It was a wonderful day!
Another award that I received
meant so much to me. The purple ribbon around my neck is for being the Community
Service Winner. I have been volunteering for the Veterans and active duty military for over
16 years now!

I made an appearance in the Hartford St. Patrick's Day Parade. I was so excited to share the
spotlight with the newly crowned Miss Greater Torrington 2007, Britney Decker.
