	The New England American Queen regional was held in Providence, Rhode Island. I was so pleased to be able to compete and win the title of Mrs. Connecticut American Queen. I also won the Evening Gown Award and the honor of receiving the Carmela Award. This award is given to the one contestant that scored the highest overall score for the whole pageant. This included the Teen, Miss, Ms. and Mrs. divisions! Next stop - Daytona Beach!
