There's a new pageant in town that I thought would be pretty exciting, so I decided to try it! Unfortunately, I didn't get my crown and banner
until a few weeks before the pageant, so I was only able to make one appearance as Mrs. New England Earth.
The Mrs. Earth pageant was held in Newport, Rhode Island. I was so pleased to be able
to spend time with my friends Laurye Natale (Mrs. Northeast U.S. Earth) and Audrey Lorence (Mrs. North America Earth). We were going to have great fun!
The pageant weekend was April 24 - 27, 2008.

On April 12th, Laurye and I traveled up to Hanscomb Air Force Base to attend the Mrs. Massachusetts America pageant.
Vanassa met up with us there as well as the Mrs. Earth Director, Michael. Here I am before the pageant.

It's now time for the pageant! We're all here in Newport, Rhode Island for orientation.

Next we headed to the Newport Winery for a tour and wine tasting.

After morning rehearsals, we had interviews and then got ready for an evening on the Newport Dinner Train and some stage rehearsal.

The night is finally here - time for the Mrs. Earth Pageant! By the end of the evening, a new Mrs.
Earth 2008, Letty Cancell and a Mrs. U.S. Earth, Laurye Natale. I had a lot of fun and was proud to be a part of the
newest pageant for ladies around the world!
